The 66th Miss Universe Pageant is all set to begin on 26th November 2017 in The Axis, Los Angeles, Nevada. Earlier the organizers decided to organize the event again in the Philippines like the last year as they were very satisfied with the arrangements done by them, but due to some issues, the show was moved to The Axis in Los Angeles.
Over 87 delegates have been confirmed for participating in the show and Naps girl Yvonne Clarke will be representing Trinidad and Tobago in the 2017 Miss Universe Pageant. Let’s check out more details about Yvonne Clarke below.
About Yvonne Clarke
She hails from the city of San Fernando. She completed her degree from Naparima Girl’s High School and currently stays at Port-of-Spain. This talented girl manages two professions simultaneously, one is her role as Managing Director in her own fashion business and she is also pursuing a degree in Clinical Sonography.
How She Got Selected
Yvonne Clarke won the title of Miss Universe Trinidad & Tobago 2017 in the local leg of the competition. The competition was arranged at the Banquet and Conference Center in The Cascadia Hotel. A total of 10 participants contested for the prestigious title and Yvonne Clarke came as the winner. Martrecia Alleyne became the first runner-up and Gleniscia Wilson who is a Tobago –born won the second runner-up spot.

Winning the show and representing your country at the international level is always a proud feeling and the same was shared by Yvonne Clarke in her speech. She conveyed how much honored she is feeling to get the opportunity to represent her country on such a big stage.
It was her dream to represent her country T&T on such a big stage for over 2 decades. She is very great full to the personalities like the Giselle La Ronde-West and Wendy Fitzwilliam who are the iconic Trinbagonian women and her role models. She has been following their footsteps since a long time. At last, she thanked the franchise holder Jenny Douglas along with her team to give her opportunity to showcase her talent and finally get selected to represent her country on such a huge stage.
So, it just a few days is remaining for her to show her talent to billions of people in the 66th Miss Universe pageant.
